About Me
Rooted in service. Committed to the next generation.

My story
I'm Nini Ogele, an MD candidate at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. I grew up in Inglewood and the South Bay of Los Angeles, and I chose USC because I wanted to train where I could serve the communities that are underserved. I earned my B.S. in Biopsychology with a minor in Poverty, Inequality and Social Justice, and I have been mentoring pre medical and aspiring medical students since 2018. I'm also the founder of Enyi Mba, a nonprofit focused on preventive healthcare in Nigeria.
The work
Founder of Nini's White Coat
As founder of Nini's White Coat, I have provided free one on one guidance to more than 20 pre medical students. I authored a 14 chapter guide covering every stage of the application process, from MCAT prep and school selection to personal statements and interviews. I host live advising sessions for real time Q&A. I have also partnered with organizations including the Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas, Cal State LA, and UC Santa Barbara, sitting as a panelist to help advise pre medical students. This work honors the mentors who guided me, and lets me pay that support forward.
